Segway miniPLUS will go on sale on July 11th, 2017

It was announced today (June 28th, 2017) that Xiaomi 9 Plus (model name for Segway miniPLUS Robot in China) will be available to purchase in July 11th, 2017. The retail price will be about US$519 it is about $100 more expensive then Mini.

There are several new features available in this model:

Ability to follow within 20m (65ft);
Remote control;
Inflatable larger tires;
Higher maximum speed and range.

We can expect Segway to offer this model in the United States in August. It will be priced slightly more expensive than Segway miniPRO.

Our partners have tested Segway miniPLUS and they were disappointed. The machine is noticeably heavier. Follow-me function is not working correctly. So far the sales of this model were pretty weak.
